I was privileged to be a part of a team who came to Argentina to build a home for a church planter and his family. Because of this work this family been able to move in to the community of La Rinconada to share Christ. This experience helped me better grasp and appreciate God's global redemptive vision. 

To partner as a church with the ministry in Cachi has been a blessing and it was my honor to visit there when planting a church there was only an idea. Ideas evolve because of the will of God as He directs events and plans for His Glory. I will never lose my heart for missions because of trips like these. 

The opportunity to spread the Gospel in another country allowed me to see God's power and glory in unique ways that I had never imagined before.

More than anything, my experiences in Argentina have shown me God's great power, love and plan to redeem the world and how important it is that I play my role faithfully, obediently and with all joy. It is wonderful to see God's Kingdom take root in a different culture and in the hearts of people He longs to be reunited with!

I often find myself reminiscing about our trip to Cachi. Whenever I do, I stop to say a prayer for the ministry that Marcelo and his family are leading in that community. After the sun had set on our last day in Cachi and we were walking from the worksite through the unlit streets of town, I asked my son, “What do you think of Cachi?”. He immediately answered, “It is dark here. I believe the Brondos will bring light to this dark community.”

My time in Argentina was much more foundational for my faith than I'd ever imagined. I used to be so judgmental and critical, but the love I was shown in Argentina perfectly displayed Christ's love and I began to see that my faith was sincerely lacking. Our actions without love are worthless and I saw an immeasurable love that was not bound by culture, language or race.
